Aliyah and Absorption Organizations

The Welfare and Social Services Department provides a wide range of services to residents of the city
who find themselves in a temporary or prolonged crisis situation due to personal and family life events
and who require assistance, support, counseling and professional accompaniment. Skilled teams of
social workers, assisted by other workers and volunteers, are readily available to families in the city to
find ways and solutions and to help them bring about change to improve their quality of life.

needs, immigration and absorption, religion and culture, health and sports

מודיעין מכבים רעות רואה באזרחיה תושבים מעורבים ופעילים, ומוקירה את תרומתם לעיר בעבר, בהווה ובעתיד, כמו כן, העיר והעירייה מחויבות לפעול למען אזרחיה הוותיקים בהתבסס על האמרה: "עם שאינו יודע את עברו, ההווה שלו דל ועתידו לוט בערפל." (יגאל אלון).

האגף מהווה נדבך מרכזי בשיפור איכות החיים של התושב במרחב הציבורי והאישי, בפעילות תומכת ומקדמת בשיתוף פעולה עם יחידות העירייה, החברות העירוניות וגורמים נוספים.

האגף מוביל בפעילות למען התושב ויחד עם התושב.

קידום הפעילות הספרותית-התרבותית במודיעין על מגוון אוכלוסייתה הפלורליסטית: צעירים ואזרחים וותיקים, גמלאים, יוצאי צבא ועולים חדשים - – השואפים לקבל במה ליצירתם האמנותית ולסיפורם האישי-המשפחתי-ההיסטורי.

The purpose of the organization: NIV is a supportive business framework which provides tools for business management and development to business owners from Modiin and the environment. Established in 1998.
The organizations activity: in NIV there are six activity groups which meet once every two
weeks. The meetings include a networking activity and at each meeting studying a study unit on
a business topic.
In addition, NIV/WEB holds two professional study evenings a year and marks International
Womens Day every year with an activity for all members of the association.
